Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I detail my vehicle?

This is without a doubt, the question we receive the most and it all comes down to how often your car is cleaned and where it is parked. Remember, cars are terrible investments; the moment you drive off the dealership lot, the value diminishes tremendously. In order to prolong the life of your investment, we recommend a detail at least twice a year if kept in a garage. If your vehicle is parked outside or under trees, we would suggest quarterly (every 3 months).

What is a waterless wash and how does it work?

A waterless wash is a cleaning spray that contains lubricants and cleaning agents to carefully lift dust and soil from your car's paint without the use of running water. The exterior of your vehicle is sprayed down section-by-section and the dirt is then safely wiped away with clean microfiber towels without any damage to your paint.

Why waterless over traditional soap and water?

As California is experiencing record setting droughts, most cities in the Los Angeles county are under mandatory water rationing. This in turn leads to fines set by each city for wasteful water consumption. As a result, most mobile detail companies fill their own large tanks of water at home which doesn't aid in our crucial situation, it's just a work around to it. Being that the waterless wash is a safe alternative to soap and water, and as we are 100% commited to being Eco-Friendly, we choose this route to perform our detailing service.

How long will it take to detail my car?

Each of our packages have a different service time and can vary from car to car. On average, our details will take anywhere from 3-6 hours to complete. The results will be worth the wait from the comfort of your home!

What brand of products do you use?

We primarily use P&S Professional Detail products which are made right here in the USA. This trusted company has been around for over 3 decades and their products are specifically used to detail Air Force One. We also use other products from the likes of IGL, CarPro, Optimum Polymer, and Meguiar's.

Which package should I get if I am returning a lease or selling my car?

We would recommend our Signature, Premium, or Ultimate detail package. Each include a full Interior and Exterior detail to achieve the best perceived value of your vehicle. The last thing you would want is the dealership to charge you for additional cleaning (at their rates) on a lease or to lose out on more money from a personal sale. A small investment now to get your car looking like new again will very much be worth it at the end of the day.

What is a Ceramic Coating?

A Ceramic Coating is a high solids, clear liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. This coating chemically bonds and hardens as it cures to the paint, creating a layer of strong protection and deep gloss. Think of it as a wax alternative, but much much more. It creates a semi-permanent bond with the surface, meaning that it will not wash away or break down, nor does it require repeated application every few months. In fact, with proper prep and application, a ceramic coating can last 1, 2, and even 3 years or longer depending on the coating installed!

What are the benefits of a ceramic coated car?

Ceramic coatings offer an overall better protection when compared to waxes or sealants, hands down. A ceramic coated car will have improved protection against brake dust, rust, micro marring (light scratches), chemicals, mineral deposits, UV damage, acid rain, industrial fallout, bird droppings, and tree gum to name a few. They also last much longer, usually multiple years. Some, like the IGL Ecocoat line we offer, even include a warranty. Not only that, your car will be easier to clean due to its hydrophobic and self-cleaning properties.

Do I still have to maintain my coated car?

Yes, of course. Even though there are many benefits to having your vehicle coated, it does not make it bullet proof and still requires regular care as you would your vehicles paint. Hand washing your vehicle (with a pH neutral soap) is still a must and it is recommended that we apply a Si02 Spray Sealant every 6 months to rejuvenate the coating, prolonging its lifespan and re-enhancing the gloss.
